Barraca da Neide
Now that you are in Brazil, you have to try do lunch on the beach the way the brazilians of Rio Grande do Norte do it. And one of the best ways to try that is to go to the barracas on the central beach. Here you can indulge yourself with a creamy shrimp soup, delicious grilled “Queijo Coalho”, the freshest fish just pulled out of the ocean and big 600 ml. ice cold beers to quench your thirst and you get this whole experience still dipping your toes in the water, because you are actually sitting on the beach. The price range here is worthwhile - it ranges from 5R$ -70R$ per person- and you will not get disappointed. Barraca da Neide is famous for its soups- shrimp, fish, clams and other seafoods- but there are plenty of other barracas to explore and they all have their own specialty – so go explore!
